Production Procedure
Production process of cooling fans
  1. Raw Material Inspection and Preparation

All key raw materials, including plastic frame fan blades, enameled wires, magnetic rings, precision bearings, and electronic components, are sourced from strictly certified high-quality suppliers. Incoming materials must pass rigorous physical performance tests (such as flammability and temperature resistance), dimensional accuracy measurements, and electrical performance inspections to ensure compliance with design requirements and safety standards.

  1. Precision Injection Molding

High-precision molds are used to ensure the geometric accuracy, dynamic balance performance, and surface finish of plastic components such as fan blades and frames reach optimal levels. Advanced injection molding machines operate under strictly controlled parameters like temperature, pressure, and time to guarantee high consistency between production batches. Post-molding, preliminary visual inspections and dimensional sampling checks are conducted.

  1. Motor Winding and Assembly

Automated winding machines precisely wind enameled wires onto stator cores, ensuring the correct number of coil turns, phase alignment, and intact insulation layers—this is the foundation of motor efficiency and reliability. The wound stator, magnetic rotor, and precision bearings (including oil-impregnated or ball bearings) are meticulously assembled. Key parameters such as axial clearance and concentricity are strictly controlled.

  1. Automated Assembly and Soldering

Automated or semi-automated production lines precisely assemble injection-molded fan blades, frames, motor cores, PCB control boards (e.g., speed regulation, PWM, FG/RD signal functions), and connectors. Critical electrical connection points are soldered using wave soldering or selective soldering processes to ensure robust joints and excellent conductivity.

  1. Dynamic Balance Calibration

Each fan must undergo testing and calibration on a professional dynamic balancing machine. By accurately measuring the imbalance during rotation and removing material (e.g., laser marking for weight reduction) or adding counterweights at specific locations (typically on the blades or hub), vibration and noise are minimized, significantly enhancing fan lifespan and operational smoothness.

  1. Comprehensive Performance Testing and Aging

100% full inspection! Every finished fan undergoes a series of rigorous tests:

  • Electrical Safety: Withstand voltage test, insulation resistance test.
  • Functional Performance: Starting voltage, rated speed, operating current, airflow and pressure (sampling or in a wind tunnel lab), noise (tested in an anechoic chamber), speed regulation (if supported), signal output (FG/RD).
  • Environmental Simulation: High-temperature aging test (long-term full-load operation), low-temperature startup test to ensure reliability under extreme conditions.
  • Lifespan Estimation: MTBF lifespan test (sampling) to continuously validate product durability.
  1. Final Inspection and Packaging

Fans that pass all tests undergo a final visual inspection to ensure no scratches, stains, or incorrect labels.

Custom die-cut inserts and five-layer corrugated boxes are used for packaging to protect products during transportation and storage.
